Our main office in Whitby is open 9-5 Monday to Friday. It is on the east side of Brock Street just north of Mary St. (the lights immediately north of Dundas and the “four corners”. There is free parking in a lot outside and we are on the second floor. Unfortunately we do not have elevator access to our second floor office but we can arrange to see people unable to access the office elsewhere locally when needed. We conduct small arbitrations and mediations from our Whitby office but generally use the facilities of Durham Reporting for proceedings in the Durham Region. We have space to conduct Arbitrations and Mediations at our Peterborough office instead of our former office in Toronto. We also have available in Peterborough and at Network Reporting (North and Downtown Toronto) real time reporting for Arbitrations as needed by parties. The instant availability of a transcript actually saves time and costs as it allows the evidence to proceed more quickly without the need for detailed note taking by the lawyers or the arbitrator who can access verbatim transcriptions of the evidence. As many of our Arbitrations and Mediations are actually held in Toronto we conduct proceedings from court reporters’ offices, hotel boardrooms or lawyers’ office boardrooms as selected for the convenience of parties, witnesses and their lawyers. The closing of our Toronto office and the ADR Works Mediation Centre was part of a personal move of residence east from Toronto to Peterborough with an expansion of our accessible Peterborough office. There are many facilities available for ADR proceedings in Toronto and our own prime location Yonge Street facility was not used enough to justify its cost. We will conduct ADR proceedings at the parties’ choice of Toronto area locations.

We are working to promote the use of ADR in Ontario in areas east and north of Toronto. Please send all faxes to the Whitby office unless otherwise specifically arranged. The Peterborough office is at Suite 263 in Time Square, 380 Armour Rd., in the East City right above the Lift Lock and just east of downtown at the corner of Armour and Hunter. Our office is in the south west corner of the second floor. There is accessible elevator access by the main building entrance if needed, but we are closest to the stairs on the left side of the building as viewed from the parking lot. There is an open area cafe in the building on the second floor with homemade food.
We offer free parking at both Whitby and Peterborough locations.
